Cocoa farm input financing

Smallholder cocoa yields fall sharply without timely fertiliser and spraying. The plan pre-finances inputs and labour through a farmer cooperative; the cooperative repays from bean sales at the end of the main crop.

Use of funds

Fertiliser and agro-chemicals (55%), spraying gangs and labour (30%), extension officer and logistics (15%).

The verified cooperative repayment surplus over the funded amount, less the disclosed fee, split between investors in proportion to the principal each one funded.

No return is promised. Distributions are paid only from verified results, after the disclosed 10.00% management fee. If the business makes a loss, nothing is distributed.
